Headteacher Message
I cannot believe it is already half term — the past five weeks have flown by!
I will keep this brief, as we have lots of information coming your way this week. Mrs Boyle has written to you about Book Week (yes, we will be dressing up!) and the Book Fair that will be running . Ms Lovell will also be in touch about the exciting projects linked to Science Week.
This week, the children have been busy taking part in activities for Children’s Mental Health Week. On Friday, they will need to come to school in their PE kits so they can enjoy a fun afternoon moving around different classes and taking part in a range of activities with different teachers. These will include yoga, large collaborative art projects, and construction challenges. It promises to be a wonderful way to end the half term, and I know the children will really enjoy it.
Well done to our year 6 children (and adults!) who have been working really hard in preparation for their SATs in the summer term. The recent assessments have shown huge progress and I am super proud of the children’s effort – they are really demonstrating our value of Strength.
Before I sign off, I would like to thank everyone for your support with our uniform drive — the children are looking incredibly smart.
Wishing you all a restful and well deserved half term break.
Mrs Brooks
