Wednesday 6th May 2026 - Summer Term Issue 2

Headteacher Message

I hope everyone enjoyed a lovely Bank Holiday weekend.

Early Bird Week is proving to be a real success. We have seen a huge improvement in punctuality, with far fewer late arrivals to school in the mornings. Thank you for your continued support with this.

Staffing News
We would like to share that Ms Lovell will be retiring at the end of this academic year. This news brings very mixed emotions: we will miss her terribly, but we also wish her every happiness as she begins the next exciting chapter of her life.

We are currently recruiting for a new class teacher to join our team and will update you once an appointment has been made.

Please join us in wishing Ms Lovell all the very best for her retirement.

Our next E.R.I.C. (Everyone Reading in Class) session will take place on Wednesday 20th May. Parents, carers, and other family members are very welcome to come into school and share a book with their child.

Best wishes,

Mrs Justine Brooks

Notices

School Dinner Menu Spring Term 2019 — Tufnell Park Primary School

Please be reminded that school dinner orders must be placed via MCAS by the end of Thursday for the following week. This allows our kitchen team to plan accurately and order the correct quantities.

We have recently noticed an increase in late and missing orders, which can sometimes make planning difficult for the kitchen staff.

If orders are placed late, your child may not receive their first choice of meal and, in some cases, you may be asked to provide a packed lunch instead.

You can check and update the information we hold via MCAS > Data Collection. Most details can be amended directly within MCAS.

Alternatively, you are welcome to send us a message or an email.
