Headteacher Message

Thank you for all your support over the past few days. We have been doing our very best to keep the children as cool and comfortable as possible during this ongoing heatwave. We are incredibly grateful to parents who have kindly donated air conditioning units—this generosity has already made a real difference.

Children are very welcome to bring in their own handheld fans to help keep cool throughout the day.

Summer Fete - Postponed

Due to the current heatwave, we have had to postpone the Summer Fete, which was due to take place this Saturday. The fete will now take place on Saturday 12th September. We are, of course, very disappointed; however, the bouncy castles cannot operate safely in these high temperatures.

We would really love our Year 6 pupils to still pop back and support the event when it takes place, if they are able to, as we know some were very much looking forward to running their own stalls.

However, the non-uniform day on Friday 26th June will still go ahead, as we know how much the children are looking forward to it. Please could we ask that tombola donations are brought into school on Friday 11th September instead of this Friday.
