Netball Club End of Season Awards 2025/6

This year 16 girls and boys participated in the Club and 8 players from Year 5 & 6 excitedly represented the school at the annual Chelmsford Schools Sports Partnership tournament. The games were very competitive, with some successful games and goals scored.
It is always wonderful to see players develop throughout their time at Netball Club. Not only seeing the improvement in their netball skills but also seeing them gain self confidence and develop team and leadership skills.
It also makes me feel very proud when players want to continue to play the game as they move on from Primary School.
This year, six Year 6’s take those next steps and all of them first started netball here when they were in Year 4. I hope they continue to enjoy the game throughout their lives.
In the meantime, there are some awards to hand out…
Each year, the players vote for their Players’ Player of the Year. I also select the Most Improved Player of the Year and the Coach’s Player of the Year. When voting and choosing, everyone takes account Attitude, Performance and the England Netball Beeliefs:
Bee Fair; Bee Together; Bee Friendly; Bee Strong; Bee Proud; and Bee Yourself.
This year the trophies are awarded as follows:
Players’ Player: Evelyn P
Most Improved Player: Aria S
Coach’s Player: Beatrice H

This Summer you can watch lots of Netball when the England Netball Team play in the Commonwealth Games. The Competition takes place from 25th July to 2nd August – look out for the games on TV - BE INSPIRED and come and join Netball Club in September.
