Our Intention

At Great Waltham C of E Primary School we have a broad and balanced curriculum which enables all children to learn and develop their skills to the best of their ability.

We promote a positive attitude towards learning, so that children enjoy coming to school and acquire a solid basis for lifelong learning.

• The Statutory Framework for the early years foundation stage (EYFS), forms the basis for our reception class curriculum.
• The Key Stage 1 curriculum is taught in year groups.
• The Key Stage 2 curriculum is taught on a 4 year cycle basis.
