Through the study of geography, our intention is to develop our children’s curiosity, knowledge and understanding of the world, the relationships between people and their environments and their place within it. They will learn to recognise how changes to places and the environment happen both as a result of natural processes and through human activity and consider how this ultimately affects them.

We intend that through the study of geography, our children will be inspired and curious about the world in which they live. They will learn to gather and interpret geographical information from various sources including first-hand experience and secondary sources to build their knowledge of where places are located, what they are like, how they are changing, how they are connected and why they are changing.
