  • Y4 Big School Camp

    Published 14/05/26

Year 4 had a fantastic time on their recent school camp! The children demonstrated wonderful enthusiasm and energy throughout, pitching their tents, toasting marshmallows around the campfire, taking part in team games, and singing together. One of the highlights was the scavenger hunt, where they worked collaboratively to solve clues.

When the weather turned too cold for sleeping outdoors, the children adapted brilliantly and embraced the change, turning it into a fun and memorable school sleepover experience instead. Their positive attitudes, resilience, and teamwork shone through at every stage of the adventure.

We are incredibly proud of all the children for the way they approached every challenge with such enthusiasm and spirit. Well done, Year 4!

  • Class Europe Colchester Castle Trip

    Published 21/04/26

Class Europe visited Colchester Castle, which is one of the oldest castles in England. It was built by the Normans over 900 years ago and stands on the remains of a Roman temple. We explored the museum inside the castle.

We saw Roman artefacts such as pottery, coins and jewellery, as well as medieval weapons and armour.   One of the most exciting parts of the trip was going into the castle vaults where we learnt lots about the history of the castle and the Roman temple that stood there before.

  • Identity & Diversity Pupil Summit

    Published 17/03/26

I had the privilege of accompanying two of our children to the Diocesan Growing Future Leaders Summit.

Zara and Feyi shared that “we went to the cathedral, played instruments to make a song, and then listened about upstanders and bystanders and what they look like.”

We learnt about leadership and explored the key qualities that make a good leader. The children are now looking forward to working with Mrs Brooks to plan a collective worship so they can share what they have learnt with the whole school.

A HUGE thank you to all of the volunteers that came along on Saturday 14th March to help with our school grounds morning. We really appreciate everyone giving up their time to help keep our school grounds looking amazing.

Your hard work made such a difference. You planted bulbs, trimmed the hedges, weeded the flower beds, cleaned the tyres ready for OPAL, and even painted part of the EYFS garden fence.

We are so grateful for your time, energy, and support.
    THANK YOU!
