Class Australia
About your class teacher: Mrs J Moore
I joined Great Waltham in 2012 after teaching at my previous school for over 15 years. I am currently teaching in Class Australia and love working with the youngest children in school. I am also the Special Needs Co-ordinator. I am passionate about supporting and developing every child so they are happy and can achieve their potential. As lead of EYFS and SEND, I am very lucky to be supported by two amazing teams of colleagues. I have taught across all ages in Primary education and have found each one has its own highlights and challenges!
At home I am a very proud mum to my daughter Izzy, who is following in my love for sport and art ... so I spend most of my evenings and weekends being a taxi service to sporting clubs/competitions or clearing up after the latest art project! When I get spare time for myself, I enjoy playing and watching sport, arts and crafts, and grabbing a coffee and catching up with friends
About Your class teacher: Miss O Bailey
I have taught at GWPS for many years across all ages as a supply teacher. Over the past few years my focus has been in EYFS, as a job share teacher and part of our Foundation Stage team. I try to incorporate my love of art and the environment into my teaching, creating a fun, lively, creative and thoughtful learning environment for the children.
I am well known in school for my love of chocolate and my passion for trying to be more environmentally friendly. Outside of school I enjoy exploring nature with long meandering walks and I’m a member of the RSPB. I enjoy being near the coast and also exploring the countryside of the UK. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and hope this passion is reflected in the classroom.
