Well done Class Antarctica, your assembly was fantastic. We hope all of the parents enjoyed it.
On World Book Day, we celebrated our love of reading by dressing up as our favourite book characters, bringing stories to life all around the school and talking about our favourite authors. Throughout the day, we took part in a range of fun activities, including storytelling sessions and book quizes. It was a wonderful opportunity to share our love for books and everyone had a really enjoyable day.

Well done to Miss Ellis and Class South America for a wonderful, interactive assembly about their work with The Wilderness Foundation.
Thank you to everyone that attended our ERIC event. It was wonderful to see so many of you coming in to share books.
On Monday 23rd February pupils from year 5 and 6 attended the Young Voices concert at the O2.
Young Voices hosts the largest children's choir concerts in the world. We had the most wonderful time singing along with other primary schools in a choir made up of 8276 children.
Well done to all of the children that attended, they were an asset to our school. They all did an excellent job of learning the songs and actions in the lead up to the concert. We hope the memories will last a lifetime.
A huge thank you to FOGWS for funding our new shed to store our OPAL equipment. Another huge thank you to the volunteers that gave up their time to come in to school and build the shed for us - we really appreciate it.
Over the past few weeks, the children have really been embracing OPAL. We have seen some fantastic imaginative play that we really wanted to share. Please take some time to look at the gallery below.
Congratulations to our Y4's for their fantastic effort and first place finish at the Superstars event.
The children took part in lots of activities including: scooter trail, relay and throw the javelin. The children were a credit to our school and cheered each other on brilliantly. Stand out achievements were first place for Bertie H and Darcy J. Isabella F also achieved 2nd place in the girls' individual event. Mrs Boyle was proud of everyone.
Well done class Asia for a great class assembly on 'Children's Mental Health Week'. The children told everyone about how to look after their well-being and how belonging to a safe place like a school and family increases happiness.
Thank you to Mrs Mixture and the kitchen team for hosting South America's parents for lunch. We hope you all enjoyed it!
Class Europe have been enjoying learning to play the Toot! We are fortunate to have a specialist music teacher coming in weekly to work with the children. A toot is an instrument similar to a recorder but played in the style of the flute. We hope they are all enjoying trying something different!
